This event was for the official launch of our practice under its new name, Boston Wealth Strategies.  We felt it was important to host our clients and thank them for their dedication and support for all these decades, as well as share why this was an important step for us.

As our team and practice continues to grow, we feel that having our own brand is an important part of our identity.  We continue to partner with Baystate Financial, but wanted our clients of today and the future to know that we are our own practice, consisting of multiple advisors and dedicated support staff.  We look forward to the growth of our practice and working with you and your future generations to come.

We'd like to thank all our clients for attending and the Boston Winery for being wonderful hosts for our party.  Last but definitely not least, we need to thank the Boston Red Sox and WEEI for loaning us all four Red Sox trophies.   We truly enjoyed having this gathering with so many of our wonderful clients.  We look forward to many more years!  Thank You - The Boston Wealth Strategies Team

On occasion a person will come along that reminds us of the important things in life.  We had the privilege of working with our corporate sponsor Will Banning of Transamerica, to have Matthew Newman, a brain cancer survivor, father, husband and author speak at an intimate private event, held at the Harvard Club on December 11th 2018.

Matthew's book "Starting at the Finish Line" is an inspirational story of courage and the importance of planning in life.  Matt was kind enough to share with us his story of survival and planning and how he was able to focus his energies on his recovery.
We want to thank Transamerica for sponsoring this event and our clients, friends and family who were able to attend.  Lastly we want to thank Matt for reminding us that living in the moment is a lost art that we all need to incorporate back into our lives.

With the market fluctuations and elections drawing near, we wanted to have an event that focused on discussing the methodology behind our investment models as well as investor behavior.  We worked closely with our partners at Fidelity and American Funds to provide expert knowledge with guest speakers, Jake Weinstein and Webb Heidinger.  They spoke about the investment cycle, the business cycle, the emotions of investing, what to do and better yet what not to do.

We hope this event,  at the Needham Sheraton, was not only enjoyable but also informative for those who attended.

As the new tax bill got passed by President Trump, we knew it would generate a lot of questions like, "how does this affect me?"  We felt that it was important to host an event on this topic and wanted to tackle the challenge a little differently this time.  We constructed a panel of professionals to help answer your questions and shed some light on the bill.  Paul Marchesiani, CPA, from the accounting firm Marchesiani and Provanzano, Herb Daroff, J.D. from Baystate Financial and Chris Palladino, CFP, ChFC, Director of Advanced Strategies from Jackson National, were our guest speakers for this event.

This event was hosted at the Needham Sheraton and we want to thank our speakers for providing their time and knowledge to us and our clients.  Based on the feedback that we received, our panelists shared a wealth of information with us and helped us to understand how these changes affect us both personally and professionally.

As always we look forward to seeing you at our next event.

After the Equifax breach that effected so many of us earlier this year, we felt it necessary to look for an expert that could advise us all on best practices regarding personal and cyber security.  We coordinated our efforts with our corporate partner Fidelity to host this event, with guest speaker Gary Rossi.  Gary is the former FBI chief of undercover and sensitive operations and the current head of corporate investigations at Fidelity.

This event was held at the Newton Marriott in October of 2017 and covered some great tools for us all to follow to help ease the potential of identity theft and security breaches.

We want to thank all our clients, prospects and professional partners for attending and for providing great feedback on ideas for future events. In addition we want to thank our sponsor Fidelity for providing such a useful learning experience.

We look forward to seeing you all at our next event.

We held this event to help guide our clients, prospects and professional relationships, on the topics of Medicare and Social Security, this past June at the Indigo Hotel in Newton, MA.

BlackRock, one of our partners, was the sponsor for the event and provided the speaker for the evening, who covered the most commonly asked questions relating to the two topics.  We also provided knowledge on what to do and not to do, when filing for either service, loopholes and other areas to be aware of.

We concluded the evening with a wonderful wine tasting, sponsored by Vino di vino, along with some amazing hors d’oeuvres from Indigo Hotel.  We were blessed with a beautiful day and night and the opportunity to learn and try some new and rare wine options.

As always we thank everyone who attended, our sponsors and team members and look forward to our next outing.
