The Boston Wealth Strategies Story

Greg Pinto and Pat Hinton began their careers independently in the financial services industry over 30 years ago. They met in 1998 as financial advisors at Baystate Financial and quickly learned that they shared a mutual interest in providing a level of service to their clients that went beyond just the financials. Their vision was to establish a practice that would guide their clients to achieve their life’s goals and provide consistency and continuity from one generation to the next.

As the industry evolved from product-based solutions to holistic-based planning, so did Greg and Pat’s desire to formalize their vision. In 2013 they created Boston Wealth Strategies. With the continued success of their new business venture, they worked to expand their team to include relationship managers and a practice manager; all with the continued commitment to enhancing the client experience. 

Dan Wagner joined the team in 2016, bringing with him over 30 years of financial services experience in corporate retirement; providing an expanded level of service to clients such as CEOs, CFOs, business owners and their employees.

Greg, Pat, and Dan have strategic alliances with tax and legal specialists and are able to leverage that expertise to augment the advice provided by their clients’ own accountants and attorneys. In today’s environment where the focus has to be on fitting all the puzzle pieces together to produce the optimal financial picture, their approach begins with comprehensive planning before any wealth management strategies are recommended. Therefore, the team’s approach starts with planning before wealth management recommendations and strategies.

Today, Boston Wealth Strategies focuses on helping their clients and families across generations. The team continues to look forward to providing future generations of clients with the support and guidance they need to make sounds financial decisions.
